I purchased this product (the UK version), and received it this morning. Here are my initial thoughts:
1. Having done a lot of research YP uses some very advanced security to prevent data from being "borrowed". They use a company called Sentor MSS to safeguard their data using a system called Assass1n (if you Google the S MSS company website, you can even read the security white-paper)
Basically, the YP platforms are monitored 24/7 by this external company. If any signs of data scraping are spotted, you get an immediate IP block and are flagged for further investigation.
2. I've looked at about 5 different YP scraper tools over the last few days. Virtually all of them are only able to get the first few pages of results per search. Plus, you run the risk of being IP blocked - unless you set up your own proxies (which can be a pain)
3. This system is the only one I've seen which:
a) Generates all the search results in one run (I got 315 records in my test run), and
b) Uses cycling IPs (within the app) to avoid any IP issues
4. In terms of simplicity, it's virtually idiot-proof. Spend 5 minutes and you'll be whizzing away. No manual is supplied, as it's not needed.
